Vocational Evaluations
The Vocational Evaluation is a comprehensive process including review of your education, work history, socioeconomic information, physical abilities, mental abilities, and work preferences. You will complete several tests and assessments that will assist with job matching. A report is then provided with job recommendations, training recommendations, and any other accommodations or supports you need to work.
Work Site Evaluations
The work site evaluation consists of two appointments. During the first appointment, you will complete the vocational evaluation which includes background interview, career counseling, and testing so your evaluator can match you with specific types of jobs. During your second appointment, you will work with your evaluator for several hours at a work site to determine your work stamina, ability to follow instructions, and ability to work independently.
Benefits Analysis & Work Incentives Planning
This service involves analyzing your current benefits such as SSI, SSDI, Medicare/Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc. and informing you how working will affect your various benefits. Information is provided regarding work incentives offered by the Social Security Administration that can help maintain your benefits and further support you while you work.
